So... nobody has seen this Limca ad before? 🤨This was one of many stunning ads done by Ogilvy India 15+ years ago. Nobody thinks there's any similarity between this and that new ad for a different lemony drink featuring Rashmika & Ranbir?Nobody thinks someone from the team should have seen/mentioned/warned about the Limca ads? There were more than one.Nobody from the entire team said 'Ye ho chuka hai. Kuch alag karte hain. Ekdum hatke. Todu. Disruptive. Matlab ekdum aisa ye...'?Nobody thinks it's plagiarised in any way? Okay. It's just me then. I'll see myself out. 😏PS: In an earlier ad of the other brand, Rashmika is introduced to this concept of water splashing. Then why is she clueless about it in the new ad? Does her character suffer from the same selective amnesia as the makers of the ads? Just asking. Ok, fine. I'm leaving. 😔#funintended #advertising #india

It has propelled Viu to be the #1 downloaded app on App store as well as Google Playstore. #privatebodyguardseries has already hit 337.4 million views on TikTok.The Private Bodyguard story itself is an AU (Alternate Universe) from NCT Dream, a popular Korean boy band with a strong fan base in Indonesia. For the uninitiated, AU is a form of fan fiction, written by authors who are fans of series, films, books, or even celebrities. Scripted by Caroline Puspojudo aka Caca (she has 127 thousand followers on X), Private Bodyguard tells the story of four popular brothers in high school. Raga, Jordan, Helga and Naviro are surprised when an orphan girl named Fely, who they often compete with at school, is suddenly adopted by their father. Every production needs a Producer of Marketing & Distribution (PMD) .Nollywood has made strides in the international film space, but our films are still considered an acquired taste and a "nice to try" in many territories. Nigerian and African films still do not earn as much as their foreign counters even on streamers like Netflix, Amazon et al. Sometimes, it is because our stories are not well explored and developed. Other times, it is because the well-made films get lost in the avalanche of films, skits, tutorials, music videos and other forms of content being released daily on the internet, and are not adequately or appropriately marketed/ distributed.
